Maria Emilia Salgado started making jewelry at a very young age in her native Colombia, where she inherited a deep passion and admiration for gemstones and jewelry from her mother and grandmother.
Maria Emilia has studied gemstones and jewelry design for many years. The culmination of this lifetime of study was the creation of Paraiba Designs.
